Description

At frog Munich, we're opening up our doors for a 3.5 hour workshop open to those interested in Interaction Design.

Note: places are extremely limted (to 30 spots) so please only register if you'll actually able to attend.

Workshop in Beta

This workshop is a preview of of a workshop that is in development. It is provided free-of-charge as it is in 'beta' and this is the first time it has been done. As such, particpants shouldn't be surprised if there's the odd kink in the process and should be willing to provide feedback and input to help develop it further.

The workshop will be given later in the summer at the Web Summer Camp in Croatia.

Course Overview
Interaction design is breaking away from the simple screen UIs in ever more exciting ways. We're being asked to put screens on all types of devices, everything has to be "smart" and our users are rarely just sitting at their desks while using our designs. Unfortunately, we don't yet have good tools for prototyping and designing these new experiences.

This is a hands-on workshop we will take a prctical approach towards designing for these contexts.

Workshop takeaways

At the end of this session you will:

• Be better at designing and prototyping multi-modal interactions.
• Learn how physical ergonomics affect your designs.
• Learn how to integrate physical prototyping methods into your workflow.
• Learn how to invent new methods for your own unique design challenges.
• Learn how to design for these new products and contexts using hands-on, non-digital methods.
